SRSLY Buffed Dry Brush

$24.00 CAD

Sweep away dry, flaky skin at the root of ingrown hairs 🧹

The SRSLY Buffed Dry Brush is a staple at Buff Wax Spot for a reason. Maintaining your wax or shave results at home includes consistently exfoliating skin and we love this brush for its mega exfoliating power. Use this brush on the bikini line and pubic mound to stop ingrown hairs. Legs and arms and even whole body are in for a treat too with an incredible full-body exfoliation experience. Our dry brush treats and prevents ingrown hairs, de-pollutes congested skin, restores glow and smoothness, and enhances the absorption of lotions and self-tanner. Comes in a cute canvas drawstring bag with how to use and care instructions printed on the back.

🐰 cruelty-free

Yours,
Sina

Use brush dry, and on clean, dry skin. Brush upward in long sweeps toward the heart, against the direction of hair growth. Apply moderate pressure until skin has a matte look (darker skin tones) or a slight rosy flush. Clean brush occasionally with soap and water; allow to thoroughly dry.

Please don't use on your face! We also don’t recommend this product for bodies with super sensitive skin or eczema (it's mega exfoliating!).

100% sisal fibres from Agave sisalana

What exactly is dry brushing?

Dry brushing is an ancient Eastern practice of exfoliating skin, improving skin circulation and lymphatic drainage. The brush is comprised of plant-based, animal-based or synthetic fibers that vary in their stiffness and texture to deliver the intended therapeutic benefit. Our dry brushes are vegan and use plant-based fibers from the Agave sisalana plant. Dry brushing isn't mainstream in North America yet but we intend to change that!

Do I use the dry brush wet or dry?

We prefer to use the dry brush dry, and on clean, dry skin. If possible, we suggest standing inside your shower when dry brushing to contain all of the dead skin you'll slough off! Once you're done dry brushing, take a shower to wash all the dead skin from your body. Your skin will be especially thirsty after dry brushing so don't forget to moisturize with either our Jojoba & Apricot Emollient Body Oil or our Shea & Cocoa Daily Botanical Body Lotion!

How often should I dry brush?

1-3x a week will provide wonderful skin softening and energizing effects. Dry brushing is particularly beneficial in preventing ingrown hairs if you shave or wax and we'd recommend a quick, daily and light dry brushing over the areas you shave or wax (yes, including the pubic mound + bikini line!) to prevent ingrown hairs.

Can you walk me through the steps of dry brushing?

You bet. Starting with your legs, brush upward in long sweeping strokes toward the heart. Apply moderate pressure or whatever feels comfortable. Move on to your bum, tummy and chest and finish with your arms. The back is a tricky area so see if you can enlist the help of a partner or friend.

How do I clean my brush?

Clean the brush occasionally with soap and water; let dry thoroughly before using again.

When do I replace my dry brush?

We recommend once every three months or when the gloves lose their scrubbing power.

Is there any reason I shouldn't use this dry brush?

Good question! This dry brush is mega-exfoliating so please don't use this product on your face. If you have super-sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis then we also don't recommend you use this dry brush.

something for everyone

Hello Folks,
I bought the dry brush for my girlfriend, and the buff gloves for myself. I borrowed the brush and loved it. I dry-brushed, showered, then moisturized. I loved how awake and smooth my skin felt. My girlfriend, however, was not a fan of the brush at all, so we traded - gloves for brush. She loves the results from the gloves, and I love the brush. WIN/WIN.
